Interests: Making lists of things (see: the majority of this website’s content), good beer, listening to music (mostly drum&bass/jungle, downtempo/lo-fi, jazz, hip-hop), collecting vinyl records, tabletop board games, Legos, pinball, disc golf, astronomy, bird watching, contributing to iNaturalist, and watching MST3k reruns and DJs on Twitch.

Created mostly for me and all of my lists. See my homepage for my IndieWeb thoughts. I’m running the SemPress theme on WordPress but don’t have all the IndieWeb webmention goodies baked in yet. Debating with federating it but haven’t decided yet. As noted, it’s a work in progress. Yep, it looks like a mid-2000s blog and I like it that way!

Botanical illustration is hobby that I haven’t had time to practice much since the early 2010s. Back then there was a botanist at the museum where I work who studied orchids. He would occasionally bring me a beautiful specimen from their research greenhouse so I could take it home over the weekend and paint it. (Well, actually draw it with watercolor pencils and ink.) The original hangs in my office.
